Viewer Plans

Future Idea

Viewer plans are display-layer planning, not protocol contract power.

Viewer plans are a future display-layer idea. They should not change the soToken ledger itself.

The contract stores facts:

  • original minter
  • birth block
  • source balance at birth
  • interval at birth
  • object index at birth
  • seed module
  • birth path
  • context hash

A viewer plan can decide how those facts appear in the app, marketplace, renderer, or token page.

Possible display options

A creator-defined viewer plan could:

  • show the exact source balance
  • show a rounded source balance
  • hide source balance by default
  • define neutral collection-specific labels
  • highlight early births
  • choose visual presentation rules for a renderer

Boundary

Viewer plans should not:

  • grant claim rights
  • change ownership
  • change the balance record
  • alter protocol fees
  • imply high-balance holders are inherently better

If a creator wants special display language, that is their collection's presentation choice. The base soToken protocol should stay factual.

Default copy

Use:

soToken objects remember the source-token support observed when the object was born.

Avoid:

soToken objects rank holders into whale tiers.
